I didn't want to post this but have been thinking about it in the back of my mind. Thousands of dead bodies + thousands of starving people, when does the survival instinct take over and throw morality out the window?

- Cuba has opened its airspace to U.S. aircraft to help shorten the flight time between Miami to Haiti.

Well the saving grace in my estimation is the fact that Port-au-Prince is NOT the entire country so other areas of the country could/have been helping to avoid such barbaric behavior, not to mention help they ARE RECEIVING from as close as the Dominican Republic and other FRIENDLY neighboring countries and as far away as TAIPEI.

As a people, we truly need to GET IT TOGETHER!

a few points- china has growth because significant segments of it's population are basically enslaved.

everyone in the western world enjoys the benefits of this slavery.

also, the amount of money spent in actually developing these poverty stricken nations is a pittance. there is over 90 TRILLION dollars in investment money- which, I would also like to point out, is seeking to invest itself constantly so that this pool can further grow. never mind that it is meaningless to even be able to approach spending that. on anything.

But that is to be expected from the usual source.
Nobody made any refugee camp on the tarmac. the control tower has been destroyed. The controls,lights,power and all that made the airport functional.
The problem they had first was the lack of control tower.

that was alleviated by the US,building one from the pilots cabin of a aircraft.
The other probelm they are having is the large amount of carfts that have to stay on the field.
The airport was never designed to park so many large crafts. They usually land load and depart.
So it is not true about Any Haitians making refugee camp on the airport tarmac.
Haitians are not even in control of their country at the moment.
Since the government buildings have been destroyed. And they can't even locate the members of government.
The camps will be set up by the donors.
the haitians. they have no control. So what you are saying, if true is really about the fioreigners
The member s of tehmedia are likely to camp on th epremesis. What most people don't know is that haitians are the last to eat each other. Since they as a society are generally <span style="font-weight: bold">deathly </span> afraid of dead people.
